Snow Days in Ashburn

Snow Days in Ashburn

Last week provided plenty of snow days in Ashburn, and it seems we spent most of them trying to dig out and get out! By the time we were out and about, every where we went was full of people. Enjoy our photo journey through Ashburn.

By Tuesday, we were ready to get out, so we met our friend Diane King and others for a fun evening out.

Thursday was the first ever Blend Business Mix, where local business owners get together to exchange ideas, ask questions and learn from each other to help their businesses grow. I’m thrilled to facilitate the Mix in my role as social media consultant at Savvy Digital Business.

All the snow days in Ashburn meant postponed everything for the schools–sports and activities. So we improvise! Rock Ridge High School hosted a combo senior night for both boys and girls basketball and for Briar Woods High School as well.

Snow days in Ashburn resulted in postponing of the Chilly Days Fundraiser.

But it may have been a blessing in disguise. We think all of Ashburn was all in one place! 🙂 There were more people in the first hour of the fundraiser this year than ALL of last year! Ashburn, you rock! And now that you know what a great time it is, we’ll expect to see even more of you next year!
